Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble and wire subassemblies/components for electrical control equipment using instructions, drawings, and manufacturing information.
  • •Perform power-checking procedures and complete inspection/testing to verify electrical/mechanical integrity and ensure conformance to specifications and codes.
  • •Follow established procedures for handling materials and maintaining quality and job progress; communicate problems and parts shortages.
  • •Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment in the area of assignment as required.
  • •Handle finished products for shipment, call carriers, and maintain tools/work area using 5-S and safety procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • •Reside within the immediate area of the Eaton El Paso, TX facility (50-mile radius) (Active Duty Military Service members exempt).
  • •No employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position; Eaton will not support CPT/OPT/STEM OPT, F-1 to H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, or I-485 portability.
  • •Minimum 1 year manufacturing/production/construction/industrial/military experience OR a degree in a technical discipline.
  • •Forklift driver certification, and experience with supply chain systems (AS400, MAPICS) and electrical equipment manufacturing/maintenance (panelboards/switchboards).
