Job Summary

Oversee the end-to-end weekly payroll for Youfoodz (~800 employees), ensuring accurate, timely remuneration. Validate time and attendance records and apply Australian payroll requirements including Modern Awards, enterprise agreements, PAYG tax, Superannuation Guarantee, novated leases, salary packaging, statutory deductions, and termination/Workers’ Compensation processing. Partner with Workforce Planning and regional operations teams to resolve variances, safeguard employee master data, and serve as the primary internal contact for payroll queries.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute and oversee the full end-to-end weekly payroll cycle for Youfoodz (~800 employees) to ensure accurate, timely remuneration.
•Analyse and validate time and attendance records while ensuring compliance with Modern Awards, enterprise agreements, and company policies.
•Manage and reconcile complex payroll calculations, including novated leases, salary packaging arrangements, and statutory deductions.
•Process and track terminations, redundancy packages, final leave payouts, and Workers’ Compensation (WC) claims/payments in line with Australian legislation.
•Partner with Workforce Planning and regional operations teams to resolve scheduling variances, audit roster data, maintain employee master data integrity, and resolve payroll escalations.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 2 years’ proven experience running high-volume, full-cycle end-to-end payroll in Australia (payroll for 500+ employees highly regarded).
•Deep, practical knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Superannuation Guarantee (SG), PAYG tax, and complex Modern Award interpretation.
•Strong capability processing advanced payroll calculations, including novated lease reconciliations, complex termination payouts, and Workers’ Compensation processing.
•Proficiency with modern payroll platforms (ADP Payforce desirable), time and attendance software, and strong Excel skills.
•Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations managers and Workforce Planning teams.
