Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify client needs and contribute to proposals.
  • •Develop design criteria, mass balances, process flow diagrams, and sizing/selecting process equipment; prepare P&IDs and related engineering documents.
  • •Develop and oversee laboratory test programs and analyze resulting data.
  • •Prepare capital and operating cost estimates and review/produce tender packages and technical specifications.
  • •Act as a Qualified Person (QP) for technical reports and provide supervision/guidance to technicians, drafters, and project metallurgists.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
  • •15+ years of relevant experience in metallurgical processes.
  • •Membership in a recognized professional engineering association, in good standing.
  • •Bilingualism required to communicate with English- and French-speaking clients.
  • •Experience in consulting engineering is an asset.
