Job Summary

Senior Systems Engineer responsible for managing and securing enterprise VMware infrastructure, Windows and Linux servers, storage, and backup systems within a government IT environment. You’ll ensure daily operations, security compliance, and seamless system migrations across multiple sites in the National Capital Region, with a TS/SCI clearance and polygraph requirements.

Job Function: IT Operations (Systems/Network Admin)

Key Responsibilities

•Operate and maintain VMware infrastructure including updating, testing, and deploying vSphere/vCenter releases and reporting issues encountered during installations and deployments.
•Manage and administer physical and virtual servers, primarily Windows and Linux, and ensure server virtualization, provisioning, maintenance, and daily operations.
•Maintain security baseline compliance via configuration, implementation, and remediation activities and ensure ongoing information security policies and standards.
•Troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components along with OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
•Provide installation and operational support of voice/data communications, storage hardware/software, backups, and data center systems on customer sites.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 142,792 - 143,750
