Job Summary

Maintain and repair equipment, tools, and machinery for production operations. Install, adjust, and repair production equipment, trucks, and special purpose machines; operate hand and power tools; perform welding and cutting; test and troubleshoot malfunctions; replace parts including electrical components and circuit boards; and dismantle equipment when needed. Keep work areas clean and orderly while performing general plant structure repairs.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, adjust, and repair production equipment, heavy trucks, and special purpose machines.
•Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, and change parts.
•Weld and use a cutting torch as required.
•Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery; determine repairs and coordinate approval.
•Replace faulty parts (including electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards) and install/test equipment for proper functioning.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/equivalent and a technical or vocational certification (or equivalent experience).
•Read and interpret instructions and operation manuals; follow step-by-step directions.

•Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, electricity, carpentry, or related fields (preferred).
•Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work under extreme conditions (hot/cold, noise, dust, dirt).
