Job Summary

Drive sales by bridging data/AI expertise with client needs. Engage prospective customers early, conduct technical deep-dive workshops, and help build compelling proposals by translating requirements into practical solution scope and roadmaps. Partner with Product & Services and Customer Success to influence offerings and positioning, liaise with senior leadership to craft value propositions, and support international growth while traveling occasionally to client and partner sites.

•Initiate and manage early-stage engagements with prospective clients and document needs to shape effective solution proposals.
•Facilitate technical deep-dive workshops to showcase capabilities and use outputs to strengthen proposals.
•Estimate project scope, effort, and resources with sales and delivery teams to create commercially viable account strategies and roadmaps.
•Collaborate across Product & Services, Customer Success, and Sales & Partnerships to align roles, influence offerings/roadmaps, and improve value communication.
•Provide solutions-architecture insights to senior leadership and represent the company at conferences and events.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
•Proven experience in data consulting, sales engineering, or technical sales within data/cloud/technology.
•Essential technical expertise in data engineering/analytics engineering and data science-related work, including AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, dbt, and machine learning frameworks.
•Experience with data architecture such as stream processing, batch data warehouses, event-driven architecture, microservices, DataOps, and MLOps.
•Exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into business benefits; experience leading sales engineering teams or functions is required.
