Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent AECOM on MEP projects, leading your electrical discipline and managing engineers from a complementary discipline.
  • •Deliver detailed electrical designs to required standards and supervise others’ work to maintain quality.
  • •Manage project time to meet deadlines and coordinate tasks when acting as project manager, including resource allocation and project finance control.
  • •Strengthen client relationships by inspiring confidence internally and externally and maintaining excellent client service.
  • •Mentor and assist with the development of junior engineers and use digital/parametric tools (including IESVE) and coding to support design delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •Relevant experience designing and delivering building services projects within the consulting industry.
  • •Experience working in a similar consultancy or other relevant business with the ability to design and deliver building services work.
  • •Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to inspire, influence, and negotiate with clients and teams.
  • •Experience taking conceptual designs through to completion and dealing directly with clients.
  • •Either a qualified engineering background with a CIBSE/IET/IMechE Engineering Council accredited honours degree (or HNC) and progress toward IEng or CEng status.
