Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide comprehensive ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and safety support across the lifecycle of process equipment and facility systems.
  • •Validate supplier equipment compliance to SEMI S2 and S8 standards during procurement.
  • •Serve as the EHS technical resource for new process technology development, including novel equipment and chemicals.
  • •Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate health and safety controls (engineering and/or administrative) to mitigate identified risks.
  • •Ensure compliance with applicable federal/state/local regulations and continuously improve Oregon EHS programs across Intel sites.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Ergonomics, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering, or a related science.
  • •6+ years of hands-on experience conducting technical ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and safety assessments in a field environment.
  • •Active professional certification: Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), and/or Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
  • •Experience conducting ergonomic evaluations, chemical exposure assessments, and job/process hazard analyses (JHA/PHA).
  • •Background in semiconductor manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, or technology development environments.
