Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the technical aspects of engineering programmes for Charges products, including workload and technical query ownership.
  • •Lead the Charges team, guiding engineers and scientists across career stages.
  • •Drive design, development, test, and manufacture of charge system products for the defence industry.
  • •Provide engineering governance for engineering activity within the team and form part of the Integrated Delivery Team.
  • •Maintain team capability and roll out a competency training programme to ensure delivery.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 58,000

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Chemistry (or similar qualification).
  • •Ability to deliver key milestones for engineering projects and programmes.
  • •Support manufacturing activities by resolving technical issues such as non-conformance to technical data pack.
  • •Make technical justifications in challenging environments, demonstrated by strong communication and management skills.
  • •Achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (minimum).
