Key Responsibilities

•Ensure stable operation and efficient performance of data networks, including monitoring and managing network hardware and equipment.
•Analyze network performance across LANs and WANs, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot connectivity issues while optimizing for minimal downtime.
•Set up, configure, and maintain Juniper devices including MX routers, SRX firewalls, and QFX switches; administer hardware/software upgrades.
•Design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, VPNs) and IP address schemas; create and maintain network documentation (topology, IP schemas, firewall rules).
•Implement and manage network security measures (firewalls, access controls, IDS/IPS) and provide technical support and quality control checks; participate in rotating on-call support.

Key Requirements

•A degree in computer science or other IT-related discipline is preferred.

•Strong communication and written skills.
•Able to obtain a DoD Interim Secret clearance with upgrade to Top Secret.
