Job Summary

Lead systems design engineering efforts to debug customer issues and resolve root causes during product ramp and AI system solution bring-up across NPI and production. Develop custom agentic AI solutions to automate targeted debug workflows, improve technical and procedural methodologies, and drive cross-team execution to ungate customers on time. Apply software and hardware systems engineering expertise while collaborating on modeling frameworks to optimize customer solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive technical innovation to improve AMD’s ability to debug customer issues efficiently by developing custom AI agents for targeted debug use cases.
•Enhance technical and procedural methodologies and lead internal and cross-functional technical initiatives.
•Debug customer issues during bring-up, NPI, and production phases of AI system solutions, including rack servers.
•Work with multiple teams and drive debug execution to ungate customers in a timely manner.
•Engage in software/hardware modeling frameworks to optimize customer solutions.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
•Extensive knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and customer enablement.
•Solid agentic AI skills using Cursor, Claude and other agentic AI tools.
•Proven programming/scripting skills, including C/C++, Perl, Ruby, or Python.
•Expert system-level debug techniques with automation and methodologies, plus experience with board/platform-level debug.
