Key Responsibilities

•Define and influence the direction of a small team for target tracking and state estimation.
•Prototype and deploy state-of-the-art tracking, multi-sensor fusion, and state estimation algorithms in agile development environments.
•Develop high-performance real-time software across tactical implementations, simulations, and decision support tools.
•Design and implement robust filters, estimators, and probabilistic reasoning to extract insights from noisy or incomplete sensor data.
•Integrate tracking and estimation technologies throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements through testing and optimization.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Proficiency in algorithm design, software development, and statistical modeling using C/C++, Python, and Matlab.
•Strong knowledge of target tracking techniques, including Kalman filters, particle filters, and multi-target tracking (JPDA, MHT, or PHD).
•Experience in state estimation such as Bayesian filtering, sensor fusion, and recursive estimation.
•Solid applied mathematics skills including linear algebra, optimization, probability, and stochastic processes.
•Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
