Job Summary

Develop and maintain document automation solutions using OpenText Exstream, partnering with mainframe systems to extract, format, and deliver data for downstream document generation. Write and debug JCL and COBOL programs, design and compose Exstream templates, and support production batch jobs. Work across Waterfall and Agile life cycles, performing SIT/UAT and participating in modernization of legacy document systems for compliant regulatory communications.

Key Responsibilities

•Write clean, efficient executable code in low-level and high-level languages.
•Manage application development deliverables across the full project life cycle using Waterfall and/or Agile models.
•Design and maintain document templates using Exstream Dialogue, ensuring data maps accurately to layouts.
•Write and maintain JCL and COBOL programs to extract and format mainframe data (DB2, VSAM) for ingestion by the Exstream engine.
•Perform unit testing, SIT, and UAT; resolve JCL errors and document formatting bugs, and provide production support by monitoring batch jobs and troubleshooting document generation issues.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience.
•Proficiency in IBM mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM.
•2–5+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText (HP) Exstream, including Exstream Engine, Design Manager, and Delivery Manager.
•Strong SQL skills plus IBM utilities (SORT, IEBGENER) and release management experience with Endevor or Changeman.
•Experience in Agile/Scrum or Waterfall SDLC environments using tools like Jira and Bitbucket.
