Job Summary

Roadway lighting engineers and designers to support highway lighting design, contributing at junior to senior levels on major transportation projects. Work on lighting design packages, contribute to alternative delivery projects, and use AGi32, Visual Lighting Design, MicroStation and OpenRoads in a hybrid office/field setting within the Southeast US team.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop roadway lighting design packages for highway improvement projects across the southern United States
•Collaborate as a Task Lead or SME on alternative delivery projects and mega-projects
•Assist in the preparation of design layouts and detailing using AGi32, Visual Lighting Design software and MicroStation/OpenRoads
•Coordinate with geospatial, electrical and civil teams to integrate lighting into transportation projects
•Support senior staff in project delivery, QA/QC, and client communications

Key Requirements

•CAD Designers: BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Preferred Qualifications: EIT Certification or PE License; Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; State DOT experience
