Key Responsibilities

•Lead the merchant onboarding strategy for the market, driving growth in high-quality merchant offers partnerships across priority sectors (e.g., Retail, Airlines, Dining, Entertainment).
•Scale strategic merchant partners leveraging Mastercard’s existing relationships to deliver incremental value and strengthen partnerships.
•Develop and execute a Commerce Media strategy for future growth, including sourcing and scaling advertiser-funded content and data-driven campaigns.
•Structure, negotiate, and manage complex partnership terms to ensure strong commercial outcomes and long-term alignment.
•Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for strategic merchants, building executive-level relationships and guiding governance and performance reviews.

Key Requirements

•Experience in strategic merchant partnership business development and/or payments ecosystem.
•Proven track record of initiating and scaling merchant or distribution partnerships.
•Strong commercial acumen with ability to negotiate complex agreements.
•Ability to tailor partnership strategies to local market dynamics and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
•Leadership capabilities to influence senior stakeholders and drive execution.
