Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft, structure, negotiate, and close Meter’s material customer agreements and SLAs across every Sales Team, grounding each commitment in real engineering and product plans.
  • •Paper the GTM motion: channel agreements (MSP, VAR, distributor, referral) and related contracts that let partners sell and deliver Meter.
  • •Negotiate and close pre-installation agreements: property licenses and access rights to install Meter hardware in buildings.
  • •Stand up Meter’s CLM and own the contract lifecycle from intake to signature to renewal; build templates, playbooks, and tooling for repeatable deals.
  • •Independently manage the contracting process for deals, collaborating with Sales, Finance, Security, Engineering, Product, and Deployment.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 172,000 - 275,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •A J.D. from a top law school and experience at a top law firm.
  • •In-house regulatory experience.
  • •Member in good standing of at least one state bar.
  • •Experience drafting, negotiating, and closing material customer agreements and SLAs across sales teams with grounding in engineering/product plans.
  • •Ability to build templates, playbooks, and CLM to scale the commercial function as volume/geography grows.
