Manage parts inventory, maintain a company service truck, complete repair orders and DOT documentation, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections, including follow-up repairs, in a mobile/field environment.
•Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment (electrical, brake/cooling, starters/alternators, air conditioning, diesel steering, engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials, etc.).
•Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions using tools like handheld computers and pressure gauges.
•Road test vehicles to verify proper operation and document findings.
•Maintain parts inventory and equipment on the company-issued service truck, complete repair orders using the TRAIT application/iOS device, and comply with safety and environmental regulations.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/GED and 3 years of related experience (or equivalent combination including degree/certification, or 5 years related experience).
•Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary for required duties.
•Obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
•Pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical prior to employment.
•Current and valid DOT medical card (or be able to complete DOT physical if the card validity is 4 months or less).
