Job Summary

Own and extend internal developer platform tooling that helps engineers build, ship, and maintain products. Help scale cloud infrastructure across AWS and Kubernetes (EKS), with declarative infrastructure using Terraform and Crossplane. Participate in incident response and improve reliability, security, and core DORA metrics. Lead DevOps tooling solutions, mentor interns, and contribute to AI-first enablement and automation across self-serve paved paths and autonomous agentic systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and maintain internal developer platforms, including self-serve infrastructure, paved paths, and AI-first automation.
•Maintain and extend cloud infrastructure across Kubernetes and AWS, including services and data platforms like Postgres, Redis, Kafka, and Elasticsearch.
•Serve as a go-to technical expert, turning tribal knowledge into tooling and documentation so the platform is the source of truth.
•Mentor interns and level up other engineers through knowledge-sharing programs, documentation, and guilds.
•Participate in weekly on-call rotation for monitoring, incident response, and resolving issues outside standard business hours.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 143,000 - 169,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, SRE, and/or Platform Engineering roles.
•Experience improving developer productivity via platform tooling, infrastructure automation, self-service capabilities, or internal developer platforms.
•AI-first: safely apply AI to infrastructure and platform engineering work with an emphasis on safe usage in production.
•Strong cloud fundamentals with familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, IAC, and modern CI/CD tooling.
•Senior-level experience administratively managing service infrastructure (servers, databases, caches, message queues, and data networks).
