Job Summary

Lead the enterprise AML, BSA, and OFAC/Sanctions program, providing strategic governance and independent oversight of financial crimes compliance risk. Key Responsibilities

•Lead and govern the enterprise AML/BSA/OFAC program to ensure effectiveness, risk-based coverage, and regulatory alignment.
•Develop and maintain the compliance framework, including AML policies, procedures, controls, and processes.
•Direct AML and sanctions risk assessments for new and existing products, services, and business activities.
•Oversee transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, suspicious activity investigations, SAR filing, CTR exemptions, and FinCEN 314(a)/314(b) responses.
•Provide leadership, advisory support, and Board/Risk Committee-level reporting while developing the AML team.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, risk management, criminal justice, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
•10+ years of progressive BSA/AML, OFAC, and financial crimes compliance experience in banking/financial services, including senior program leadership.
•CAMS or a comparable industry-recognized certification strongly preferred.
•Experience with AML transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and case management systems (Verafin or similar platforms strongly preferred).
•Ability to interpret evolving laws/regulations and translate requirements into effective AML policies, controls, and risk-based practices.
