Job Summary

Provide inpatient and outpatient neurology care while maintaining evidence-based treatment standards and medical ethics aligned with CBAHI/JCIA and hospital by-laws. Lead department quality planning using measurable improvement metrics, conduct ward rounds, and perform diagnostic/therapeutic procedures within clinical privileges. Manage referrals, participate in on-call duties, supervise junior medical and nursing staff, ensure accurate medical records, and contribute to CME, training, committees, and patient/family education.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide superior quality medical treatment, compassion, and understanding to every neurology patient served.
•Deliver neurologic patient care within clinical privileges and scientifically valid standards, guidelines, and criteria.
•Conduct regular ward rounds and develop multidisciplinary treatment plans.
•Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, assess and refer patients, and accept referrals for neurology-related cases.
•Participate in on-call rota, respond to emergencies, maintain patient records, supervise junior staff, and support department performance improvement, CME, training, and committee activities.

Key Requirements

•Provide care within professional competence reflected in clinical privileges for inpatient and outpatient settings.
•Evidence-based practice aligned with professional medical ethics and CBAHI/JCIA standards, hospital by-laws, and MOH regulations in Saudi Arabia.
•Minimum five (5) years post-qualification experience.
•Current valid license to practice medicine in the specialty and registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties or a current Saudi license.
•Required education: American Board, Canadian Fellowship, MRCP, or an equivalent qualification.
