Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform orbital tube welding for fabrication of tube subassemblies and final propulsion tank closeouts.
  • •Assemble, install, test, and route/terminate/stake/wrap thermal components (thermistors, heaters, non-flight thermocouples) by interpreting drawings and procedures.
  • •Visually inspect propulsion assemblies against drawings, engineering specifications, and written assembly/test procedures.
  • •Operate materials handling and manufacturing equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lift, and transportation equipment as required.
  • •Interface with design and manufacturing engineering and other personnel to support procedural and product quality requirements, and cross-train/mentor new hires.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in propulsion assembly on high reliability products (preferably aerospace).
  • •High School Diploma or GED.
  • •Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, harness wiring diagrams, and internal/external specifications.
  • •Experience using hand tools and power tools.
  • •Must be able to work second shift (primarily second shift, with possible additional shift requirements).
