Key Responsibilities

  • •Demonstrate expertise in procedural and processing requirements for business non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions, including USCIS processes and consular applications (DS-160).
  • •Communicate effectively in Japanese and English with clients, beneficiaries, attorneys, and other stakeholders regarding case documents, status, and procedural requirements.
  • •Independently analyze case documents and prepare business immigration applications for attorney review and submission.
  • •Manage a case docket and ensure timely communication with clients and attorneys.
  • •Assist with review of Japanese-language documents and communications and stay up to date on immigration developments; other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent training, education, and experience.
  • •Fluency in Japanese and English with strong written and verbal communication in both languages.
  • •Previous experience preparing business immigration applications using USCSi and consular processing, with demonstrated understanding of visa petitions (e.g., E1/E2, L1A/L1B, L Blanket, H, L, TN, O/P, PERM, I-140, AOS).
  • •Experience with other types of immigration matters is a plus.
  • •Strong multitasking, time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines on a high volume of cases.
