Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as primary risk partner for the India business by developing and executing a global risk management strategy tailored to India.
  • •Implement the enterprise risk management framework, risk appetite, and local risk policies to support effective risk management and local regulatory requirements.
  • •Manage local regulatory relationships and represent management during regulatory reviews.
  • •Drive/review risk and controls self-assessments and challenge first-line risk owners through second-line review and advisory.
  • •Investigate incidents to determine root cause and impact, support remediation, and report risk updates to the local Board and regional Head of Risk.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in financial services or payments with deep expertise in India’s regulatory landscape.
  • •Experience developing and implementing comprehensive risk management frameworks, including governance, risk reporting, and risk policy oversight.
  • •Proven ability to engage executive leadership, board members, and external regulators, with strong cross-functional influence.
  • •Extensive experience across enterprise risk, operational risk, regulatory risk and/or technology risk management.
  • •Track record of leading and project managing risk management initiatives with strong business engagement.
