Job Summary

Provide technical support to manufacturing operations by analyzing part drawings and engineering data to define manufacturing methods and processes for complex products. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve shop-floor manufacturing issues, including equipment, tooling, and material requirements and make-or-buy decisions. Partner with design and project engineering on the suitability and producibility of molds, fixtures, and parts, while contributing to continuous improvement using Lean and Kaizen practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the shop floor across processes and solve manufacturing problems.
•Determine manufacturing methods and processes for fabrication and assembly of complex products from part drawings and engineering data.
•Investigate, establish, and implement requirements for equipment, tooling, and materials, including make-or-buy decisions and facility layout.
•Investigate and troubleshoot manufacturing problems and provide technical support to operations.
•Collaborate with design or project engineering on the suitability and producibility of complex molds, fixtures, or parts.

Key Requirements

•University degree in STEM and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
•U.S. citizenship required.

•Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings and blueprints.
•Knowledge of design concepts or repair methodologies involving composites, metals, and aerospace hardware, including composite or bonding tool design.
