Job Summary

Support business growth by providing technical sales support and HVAC application expertise. Partner with CSO Account Managers and customers to qualify project needs, develop equipment and system solutions, and prepare accurate proposals and pricing. Convert leads into opportunities, perform take-offs and selections, and provide technical consultation across refrigerant systems, controls, and related services. Coordinate handoff to operations and resolve scope deviations while using engineering tools to produce submittals and drawings.

•Build and maintain relationships with CSO Account Managers to support retention, account growth, and repeat business.
•Respond to customer and sales office inquiries, identify needs, and provide technical guidance.
•Develop marketing literature and support product messaging for modified Trane equipment solutions.
•Price, quote, negotiate, and sell modified Trane equipment to Trane offices.
•Prepare take-offs, equipment selections, proposals, and transition documentation for handoff to operations, including supporting analysis and integration plans.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
•At least three years of experience in estimating, engineering, sales, or construction management.
•Familiarity with HVAC systems, temperature controls, and system applications.
•Experience developing equipment selections, quotes, proposals, and technical solutions for customers.
•Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and creating Excel databases.
