Job Summary

Lead Design to Value (DTV) initiatives focused on productivity, platforming, and sourcing within the Power Tools portfolio. Work with centralized engineering and product execution to identify cost-savings opportunities, drive plans that reduce product costs and improve margins, and measure ROI on value engineering (VI) savings. Present updates to senior management, support teardown and ideation efforts, and eliminate roadblocks across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead DTV, productivity, platforming, and sourcing initiatives to identify cost-saving opportunities within Power Tools product portfolios.
•Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sourcing, and operations to execute initiatives, measure ROI on VI savings, and present project updates to senior management.
•Deliver plans enabling project execution to reduce product costs and increase margins.
•Drive sourcing productivity projects, leading Engineering, Testing, and Qualification initiatives.
•Support product teardown and long-term ideation initiatives, analyze data to identify ideas/trends, and remove roadblocks; drive VI awareness and ownership across the business.

Travel: Low travel

•Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Industrial Engineering or Engineering Management.
•3+ years of professional work experience.
•Functional project management experience in the design and manufacturing of consumer products.

•Experience developing and delivering presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
