Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide hands-on technical mentorship and help teams understand the chapter direction, while voicing your chapter on the team level.
  • •Drive critical, complex initiatives across multiple teams and establish improvements to systems and processes that remove bottlenecks.
  • •Partner with Engineering, Product, and Data counterparts to drive RFC reviews and foster broad insight into overall app architecture.
  • •Contribute to the chapter vision and strategy by sponsoring key chapter initiatives and orchestrating mentorship efforts across the tech org.
  • •Improve overall developer experience across the org, including initiatives related to hiring and branding, while owning an end-to-end area of the system.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in Extreme Programming (TDD, Pair Programming, Simple Design, Continuous Refactoring).
  • •Solid experience building large-scale applications using modern programming languages such as C#, Java, and Go.
  • •Expertise in Distributed Systems Architecture, including microservices, event-driven systems, and RESTful services.
  • •Proficiency in automated end-to-end testing and experience with relational and nonrelational databases.
  • •Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and building/maintaining with Trunk Based Development and Continuous Delivery.
