Job Summary

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine systems while following Tyson safety standards. Complete preventative maintenance and required training/testing, service forklifts and powered industrial trucks (including battery changes), and maintain shag trucks and ammonia refrigeration systems. Respond to service calls from the operations team, manage and clean hazmat spills, and communicate issues or discrepancies to leadership while maintaining food defense and quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete preventative maintenance tasks assigned in a timely manner.
•Maintain and service forklifts and power industrial trucks, including battery changes using required PPE.
•Maintain and service shag trucks.
•Maintain and service ammonia refrigeration systems using required PPE.
•Answer service calls from the operations team, manage and clean hazmat spills, communicate difficulties/discrepancies to leadership, and follow safety, product quality, authenticity, legality, and annual food defense training requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 27.45

Key Requirements

•6 months forklift operator experience is required.
•Able to push, pull, bend, stoop, squat, and carry 70 lbs up to 120 lbs, with full range of motion and ability to stand for extended periods.
•Must pass post-offer health assessment and drug screening.
•Must be 18 years of age with a current valid state-issued driver’s license.
•No DUI/DWI conviction within the past 12 months.
