Key Responsibilities

  • •Review work orders to plan tools, equipment, time, manpower, parts, and supplies; use SAP to create work orders and respond quickly to emergency calls.
  • •Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs by troubleshooting mechanical equipment, replacing parts, testing for proper functionality, and fabricating replacement parts when needed.
  • •Install and maintain essential systems (mechanical equipment, piping, electrical controls) and utilities including electrical, water, gas, and drain lines in line with manufacturer specs and safety regulations.
  • •Adhere to preventive and predictive maintenance schedules and monitor machinery to spot malfunctions early, minimizing downtime.
  • •Follow company safety protocols including LOCKOUT/TAGOUT and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED plus 1+ year of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing, or 4 years of direct experience in that environment.
  • •Vocational/technical diploma or associate degree in a technical maintenance or vocational school (preferred).
  • •Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with team personnel and outside contractors.
  • •Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
  • •Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, and read/execute work orders and equipment manuals.
