Key Responsibilities

  • •Watch water and ensure guest, colleague, and contractor safety at all times, responding to emergencies as needed.
  • •Ride all rides, slides, and attractions as required for operational purposes and follow ride dispatch and guest-safety procedures.
  • •Maintain rescue skill and basic life support competency at test-ready levels and stay current with departmental training standards.
  • •Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures, including working at heights and in water in extreme temperatures.
  • •Move furniture, ride vehicles, and equipment in and out of the park; work nights, evenings, and/or holidays; smile and provide clear directions.

Key Requirements

  • •20/25 vision (corrected or uncorrected).
  • •Swim a minimum of 50 meters non-stop using front crawl or breaststroke.
  • •Swim underwater at a depth of 1.4 meters for 3 meters and retrieve a 10-pound brick.
  • •Maintain test-ready lifeguard skills per the International Lifeguard Training Program.
  • •Basic spoken English proficiency.
