Key Responsibilities

•Conduct and support evaluations and testing of new/next-generation Technical Security Systems using the Technology Development Branch engineering process.
•Develop, maintain, and review system documentation including technical requirements, evaluation reports, test plans, deployment instructions, and technical bulletins.
•Provide technical support and services for Diplomatic Security field activities to maximize operational capabilities and security of US embassies and posts worldwide.
•Collaborate with manufacturers on new products and existing system improvements.
•Maintain testing labs and equipment.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related technical security experience (or equivalent education/training and experience).
•Must currently possess a Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret.
•User-level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD/Visio preferred.
•Ability to read, edit, and interpret circuit diagrams and low-voltage electrical schematics.
•Experience terminating and testing copper and fiber cabling, plus familiarity with digital voltage meter point-to-point testing.
