Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate with WHO departments and support a contracted solar company with data collection, analysis, and technical reporting.
  • •Coach field investigators to collect and analyze facility energy data, including equipment, wiring, infrastructure suitability, and power-dependent needs.
  • •Conduct or supervise energy-health needs assessments and produce assessment reports and Excel files, including critical/non-critical classification and demand estimation.
  • •Develop techno-economic analyses and solar system and wiring designs, including cost estimates, technical specifications, bills of quantities, and tender-ready documentation.
  • •Support procurement technical inputs and provide monitoring, training, inspections, and monthly progress and final consultancy reporting for installation quality and compliance.
Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
  • •At least 5 years of relevant experience in solar energy systems of similar sizes, preferably in low-income countries.
  • •Proven expertise preparing technical tender documents and supervising solar energy projects of similar size.
  • •Fluent English for the consultancy deliverables.
  • •Ability to deliver high-quality results with strong report-writing skills.
