Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and coordinate drainage projects with the Lead Office, ensuring quality checks throughout delivery.
  • •Produce hydraulic & hydrological designs and calculations for storm water drainage systems and SuDS components for highways, tracks, sites, and urban areas.
  • •Design pumping stations, general arrangements, road/bridge crossing structures, and typical valve chambers.
  • •Apply relevant standards and guidance (e.g., DMRB and CIRIA C753 SuDS Manual) and provide technical support to designers for asset relocation/shifting, asset tagging, and connection/standard drawings.
  • •Perform clash analysis and support delivery using Navisworks and Common Data Environment tools such as ProjectWise, BIM 360, and ACC, while mentoring junior team members.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of experience with hydraulic & hydrological design for storm water drainage systems, preferably including outside India projects (UK, USA, Canada, MER & ANZ).
  • •Hands-on design experience for storm water drainage across highway drainage, track drainage, site drainage, sub-stations, and urban drainage, including gully spacing, SuDS design, attenuation basins, flow control devices, pumping stations, and flood risk assessment.
  • •Experience designing pumping stations, general arrangement, road/bridge crossing structures, and typical valve chambers.
  • •Proficiency with hydraulic & hydrological modeling tools such as InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage, PCSWMM, TuFlow, Causeway Flow, Sewer GEMS/Infoworks ICM, HEC-RAS, or Open Road Designer.
  • •Strong knowledge of DMRB standards and guidance such as CIRIA C753 SuDS Manual and Sewers for Adoption, plus exposure to Clash Analysis in Navisworks and work within Common Data Environment (ProjectWise, BIM 360, ACC).
