Key Responsibilities

  • •Provision MSSQL instances (clustered and non-clustered) with replication, supporting Azure and AWS database environments.
  • •Maintain performance, security, and availability of databases, including core administration and maintenance (upgrade, backup, recovery, migration).
  • •Monitor database health and resolve incidents with timely root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • •Profile server resource usage and perform capacity management, optimization, and structured improvements.
  • •Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to design scalable database structures and prepare SOE/Runbook documentation while following SOX compliances.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • •8+ years of overall IT experience with MSSQL database domain experience in on-prem and cloud database operations.
  • •Strong MSSQL management experience with SQL Server 2019 and 2022.
  • •Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting SQL Server, including Always On Availability Groups, replication, and clustering.
  • •Proven ability to implement and validate backup and recovery strategies, including DR experience.
