Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, design, deliver, operate, and maintain the museum’s IT and exhibition networks, infrastructure, and associated systems.
  • •Lead Cisco enterprise wired/wireless network infrastructure, including configuration standards, backup/version control, change management, performance monitoring, and lifecycle planning.
  • •Oversee network security using FortiGate, including segmentation, secure connectivity, vulnerability remediation, patching, monitoring/logging, and coordination with cybersecurity teams.
  • •Manage server, storage, and virtualization infrastructure including Synology storage environments and Proxmox VE, covering availability, patching, backups, upgrades, and migrations across on-prem/cloud/hybrid.
  • •Establish monitoring/observability and incident/problem management using tools like LibreNMS, ManageEngine, Prometheus/Grafana, and Elastic Stack; run backup/recovery and disaster recovery readiness, and manage vendors/technical escalations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
  • •8–10 years of network and infrastructure engineering/operations, including 3+ years in a senior, lead, or managerial role.
  • •Strong enterprise networking experience, including Cisco infrastructure, routing, wireless, and network services.
  • •Experience across servers, storage, and virtualization (e.g., Synology storage environments and Proxmox VE).
  • •Experience with network security and resilience practices, including FortiGate, monitoring/observability, backup, and disaster recovery.
