Job Summary

Ensure construction work is delivered with required quality by implementing international quality standards, plans, and procedures. Support development of the Project Quality Management System and assist the Project QA/QC Manager in executing the quality management system on site. Prepare and monitor work inspection requests and test reports, verify incoming materials, maintain QA/QC documentation, and support HSE initiatives aligned with company and IMS policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in implementing the quality management system at site per approved Project Quality Plan and IMS procedures.
•Prepare and submit WIRs for construction activities to the consultant to ensure coverage of on-site work.
•Monitor WIRs and test reports; update the Quality Manager and site team on status and manage corrective actions to avoid rejection.
•Establish and monitor QA/QC plans, method of statements, and test plans before and during the project to meet quality requirements and client expectations.
•Support HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution aligned with company and IMS policies.

Key Requirements

•Assist the Project QA/QC Manager or Sr. QA/QC Engineer in implementing the quality management system on site per approved Project Quality Plan and IMS procedures.
•Prepare work inspection requests (WIR) for construction activities and ensure they cover all work for consultant submission.
•Check incoming materials against project specifications and approved material submittals, and raise NCRs to suppliers for substandard materials.
•Monitor WIRs and test reports, update relevant teams on job status, and maintain records for weekly progress meetings.
•Have knowledge of quality systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, QCS, SMACNA, ASHRAE, NFPA) and in-depth knowledge of QMS/IMS; ERP knowledge preferably SAP.
