Job Summary

As an asphalt laborer for West Virginia Paving, you’ll help support roadway construction work including shoveling and raking asphalt material and assisting with other site tasks as needed. You’ll operate and maintain jobsite equipment, follow safety policies and OSHA guidelines, and work effectively in a team environment while meeting daily project expectations under manager direction.

Key Responsibilities

•Shovel and rake asphalt material as needed for roadway construction.
•Assist with other responsibilities as assigned to support site operations.
•Ensure jobsite safety by following safety policies and OSHA guidelines using proper tools and equipment.
•Operate and maintain vehicles, machinery, and other equipment used on the job site.
•Keep tools and the work area maintained; follow manager directions for daily tasks and expectations per project.

•Operate and maintain various vehicles, machinery, and other jobsite equipment; be able to shovel and rake asphalt material.
