Job Function: QA, Test & Release Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor, fault-find and repair automation systems to provide high equipment availability for internal customers.
•Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on automation, robotics and control panels.
•Troubleshoot out-of-service equipment, act as escalation point for junior technicians, and escalate to leadership/vendors as needed.
•Document all work in CMMS and ticketing systems as appropriate.
•Mentor maintenance personnel in automation, controls and robotics; lead root cause analysis of downtime events.

Key Requirements

•Proficient in PLC-controlled systems including programming, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
•Experienced in Automation, Mechanical, or Maintenance Engineering in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
•Comfortable interpreting technical manuals, engineering drawings and schematics for diagnostics.
•Skilled in reactive and preventative maintenance with CMMS tasks.
•Able to lead root cause analyses and mentor maintenance personnel.
