Job Summary

Own and scale SmartAsset’s web platform on an Agile Scrum team, helping build and migrate a new content management system. You’ll work across front- and back-end services, collaborate asynchronously in a fully remote environment, and contribute to technical decisions and documentation. Use Java, ReactJS, NodeJS, SQL, and cloud solutions (preferably AWS) to deliver high-availability, high-performance web experiences while guiding implementation of your team’s roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

•Work on the Web Platform team responsible for content management architecture, building and migrating a new content management system.
•Run and scale the web site and other web products as part of an Agile Scrum team.
•Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to complete sprint and triage commitments.
•Participate in technical decisions and document/improve processes while revamping and reshaping services.
•Guide technical designs and help ensure successful implementation of the team roadmap in an asynchronous, fully remote environment.

Key Requirements

•Experience with version control using Git and designing/implementing complex cloud solutions (preferably AWS).
•Proven ability to drive project and product success in Agile environments through clear communication and decisive action.
•Passion for coaching and mentoring others while continuously improving and fostering growth and collaboration.
