Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide behavioral healthcare management, monitoring and managing care as patients progress through recovery phases
  • •Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management for patients with serious mental illness

Key Requirements

  • •Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
  • •Active, unrestricted New York State NP license with prescriptive authority in good standing
  • •DEA registration (or ability to obtain) and Clozapine REMS certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • •Minimum 2 years working with serious mental illness (SMI) in an outpatient setting
