Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of multiple field crews.
  • •Ensure field teams adhere to strict safety and quality guidelines.
  • •Create and maintain field crew schedules across numerous projects and locations; ensure adherence to schedule/budget.
  • •Read and interpret utility drawings, as-builts, GIS files and other utility records; initiate and document utility records requests.
  • •Use geophysical equipment and surveying tools (including GPR and vacuum excavation) to identify, designate, and locate utilities; perform QA/QC, troubleshoot field technical issues, and communicate project information.

Key Requirements

  • •BS degree + 4 years related experience OR AS degree + 6 years related experience OR High School + 8 years related experience.
  • •SUE and/or private utility locating experience with a demonstrated commitment to quality and attention to detail.
  • •Experience and understanding of SUE practices and procedures in accordance with ASCE 38-02 & 38-22.
  • •Ability to travel frequently to field locations (including overnight travel), lift equipment up to 50 pounds unassisted, and work outdoors in varied seasonal conditions.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License required; must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review and client required background checks.
