Key Responsibilities

  • •Counsel customers on investment topics including retirement, tax, education, income management, risk management, suitability, and investment objectives.
  • •Act as a fiduciary and adhere to Regulation Best Interest (Reg BI) in all advisory relationships.
  • •Acquire, expand, and maintain client relationships through business development, client networking, and partnering with internal lines of business.
  • •Purchase and sell securities that meet customer needs as objectives change; maintain and service customer accounts with recommendations and market guidance.
  • •Develop and maintain an annual personal business plan, conduct investment research and allocation analysis, and monitor production to meet individual sales goals.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline (preferred).
  • •Minimum of five years of experience in the investment services industry.
  • •FINRA registrations including Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65 in lieu of Series 66).
  • •State of Virginia life insurance and annuities licenses.
  • •AWMA or CFP designations (preferred).
