Key Responsibilities

•Work closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to develop and execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives
•Lead by influence in a matrixed organization
•Brief program and customer leadership teams on Supply Chain status, material constraints and risk mitigation or opportunity capture plans
•Customer Proposal support including generating Supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFPs / RFQs) as well as labor basis of estimates (BOEs)
•Support supplier negotiations and PO placement as required to meet program cost and schedule objectives

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience; strong background in Supply Chain and program management
•Experience with supply chain, material requirements planning (MRP) and business acumen within a matrixed organization
•Ability to develop and lead material program strategy/plan for programs or IPTs and participate in proposals, including task descriptions and basis of estimates
•Experience with supplier management, negotiations and purchase order placement to meet cost and schedule objectives
•Proficiency in communicating across multiple functions and with external customers; ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams
