Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic leadership across the Supply Chain function, translating business objectives into clear operational outcomes.
  • •Lead Supply Chain capability and workforce planning activities, ensuring skills, capacity, and tools meet current and future business needs.
  • •Establish governance, risk, assurance, and cyber security frameworks, KPIs, business reporting, and financial controls aligned to Integrated Business Planning and compliance.
  • •Partner with Naval Ships and Sector teams to strengthen supplier development and readiness for multi-national programme delivery, strategic cost management methodologies, and ESG integration.
  • •Drive Supply Chain transformation and deploy Group and Sector initiatives, including digital and process improvement programmes such as Global Source to Pay; represent business demand with Shared Services to ensure visibility of performance delivery.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 81,000

  • •Proven leadership experience within Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related function delivering strategic and operational outcomes in a complex environment.
  • •Significant experience leading large-scale transformation, change, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • •Demonstrable experience driving supplier performance, cost optimisation, and value creation.
  • •Strong knowledge of governance, risk, assurance, and compliance frameworks, using data, reporting, and KPIs to drive performance.
  • •Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, build partnerships, and develop organisational capability through workforce planning and talent development.
