Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with providing drafting and design input, as well as technical support in the production of engineering drawings and documentation.
  • •Contribute to the delivery of small to major projects, including mining, industrial and infrastructure projects.
  • •Produce accurate and high-quality design drawings and documentation with a strong attention to detail.
  • •Collaborate with senior and lead designers, engineers and project managers to deliver project outcomes.
  • •Develop practical technical skills and gain exposure to multidisciplinary project delivery across the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • •Year 12 completed or currently completing and eligible for minimum enrolment into an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering through the University of Southern Queensland or Central Queensland University
  • •Keen to start a career in civil design and learn from professional and technical teams
  • •Interest in structural drafting, mining, industrial or heavy industry projects
  • •Ability to apply studies to real-life work and contribute to engineering drawings and documentation
  • •Motivation to develop practical technical skills and collaborate with senior designers, engineers and project managers
