Key Responsibilities

  • •Researches and develops new classes of business by assessing market trends, competition, and viability; creates forms/endorsements and develops rates with actuarial support
  • •Reviews individual risks to decline or accept business, setting premium charges, endorsements, exclusions, and placing reinsurance within guidelines
  • •Achieves production and loss ratio goals with assigned brokers by analyzing premium/loss results and assessing submission quality
  • •Oversees policy maintenance and mid-term requests, reviews loss control and claim activity, and takes appropriate action
  • •Builds broker relationships and supports technical resolution; mentors/coaches underwriting talent and may approve certain referrals in absence of the manager

Key Requirements
