Job Summary

Lead white-glove support for customers adopting cloud solutions as part of VA’s Data Modernization initiative. Serve as a subject matter expert throughout cloud migrations, enabling users to access data and meet business requirements. Build a best-practices knowledge base, respond to workgroup questions, and help teams set up resources and migrate workloads. Coordinate with on-prem teams to decommission resources, report outcomes, and collaborate with cloud architects to deliver on program timelines.

Key Responsibilities

•Help VA users overcome technical hurdles by enabling access to data and delivering business requirements.
•Act as subject matter expert for workgroups from start to finish in their migration to the cloud.
•Build out a best-practices knowledge base for workgroups to benefit from.
•Attend and respond to workgroup questions during weekly feedback and center of excellence calls.
•Collaborate across teams to set up resources, migrate workloads, decommission on-prem resources, and report progress/outcomes to leadership.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in IT/engineering/technical discipline plus 12 years of experience (or equivalent substituted experience).
•Experience managing projects in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
•Experience in the Healthcare IT field.
•Expertise with Azure (or other major cloud platforms) and data lake architectures, including Delta Lake or similar storage solutions.
•Experience with Databricks workspace administration plus automating cloud provisioning workflows (e.g., Terraform, ARM, Bicep, PowerShell, Python).
