Job Summary

Perform advanced inspection processes at the Columbus Engine Center, mastering tooling and measurement equipment to complete inspection flows. Troubleshoot inspection flow processes using problem-solving techniques, inspect parts before cleaning and NDT, and conduct bench inspection after clean/NDT. Produce complete documentation for engine build, including technical documentation review, engine package documentation, and Engine Shop Visit Report entry and reconciliation while supporting EH&S and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform advanced inspection processes at the Columbus Engine Center using tooling and measurement equipment.
•Troubleshoot the inspection flow process using problem-solving techniques in a team environment.
•Inspect parts before the clean and NDT processes, then perform bench inspection after clean/NDT and provide complete, accurate documentation.
•Meet production/inspection goals and objectives, including completing and reviewing technical documentation (Fits and Clearances, Engine Inspection Report, and SAP).
•Complete and review engine package documentation, including entering and reconciling the Engine Shop Visit Report (ESVR) while following EH&S and continuous improvement requirements.

Key Requirements

•High school graduate or GED, with U.S. citizenship required due to government contracts.
•A&P License, military training, technical training, or jet engine inspection experience.
•A&P License or two years of relevant experience preferred.
•Turbine engine overhaul, inspection, and repair experience in disciplines such as disassembly, inspection, and assembly.
•Ability to identify and resolve configuration and compatibility issues.
