Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform advanced inspection processes at the Columbus Engine Center using tooling and measurement equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot the inspection flow process using problem-solving techniques in a team environment.
  • •Inspect parts before the clean and NDT processes, then perform bench inspection after clean/NDT and provide complete, accurate documentation.
  • •Meet production/inspection goals and objectives, including completing and reviewing technical documentation (Fits and Clearances, Engine Inspection Report, and SAP).
  • •Complete and review engine package documentation, including entering and reconciling the Engine Shop Visit Report (ESVR) while following EH&S and continuous improvement requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or GED, with U.S. citizenship required due to government contracts.
  • •A&P License, military training, technical training, or jet engine inspection experience.
  • •A&P License or two years of relevant experience preferred.
  • •Turbine engine overhaul, inspection, and repair experience in disciplines such as disassembly, inspection, and assembly.
  • •Ability to identify and resolve configuration and compatibility issues.
