Key Responsibilities

  • •Engage employees in safety activities, provide clear safe work expectations, and lead risk assessments with prioritized corrective and preventive actions.
  • •Support and investigate line/equipment stoppages involving imminent safety risk; complete incident investigations using RCA and implement timely corrective actions.
  • •Lead safety meetings and reviews (pre-shift, department, change management, town halls), conduct weekly safety audits, and maintain OSHA recordkeeping reports.
  • •Oversee training and development for assigned employees, including EHS new hire orientation and authorized technical safety training (LOTO, crane use, forklift, fall protection, confined space, hot work).
  • •Manage EHS compliance and programs, including GHS/SDS, PPE inventory and chemical purchases, workers compensation support, environmental permits, contractor safety, and emergency response support.

Key Requirements

  • •1–3 years of safety experience in an industrial setting.
  • •Extensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other government regulations.
  • •High school diploma or GED equivalency; ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • •Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and complete responsibilities in accordance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • •Capable of physical mobility (including lifting up to 50 lbs) and working required overtime; able to travel as required.
