Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the development and delivery of multi-disciplinary aviation infrastructure projects, aligning team objectives with broader business goals and integrating across disciplines.
  • •Assure technical delivery by providing expertise to the design team and ensuring technical excellence in delivery.
  • •Build and maintain relationships with key clients, providing strategic advice and representing AECOM at meetings, industry events, and conferences.
  • •Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including leading preparation of bids and proposals aligned with client needs and strategic priorities.
  • •Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of airport planners, civil engineers, and aeronautical ground lighting designers, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •Professional qualification: Institution of Civil Engineers (or equivalent).
  • •Significant experience and a strong track record in design, planning, and construction support within the airport environment.
  • •Knowledge of civil and military aviation standards and recommended practices (ICAO, EASA, CAA, FAA, MAA).
  • •Exceptional communication skills to identify and influence key client stakeholders and build relationships to grow the pipeline.
